Last weekend’s Daytona 500 was one chaotic event. It was especially true for Kyle Busch since he was having a good run for most of the event. However, it was the final few laps of the race when things went haywire. In a flash, Busch found himself in a wreck.

This crushed his chances of grabbing his first-ever Daytona 500 win. Despite the setback, Busch took to Twitter to thank his fans for their continued support. Among the fans, there was also someone special.

NFL Supremo, Pat McAfee also sent a message across towards the RCR driver.

Over a tweet, the Richard Childress Racing driver said, Was a damn good time and oh so close! Thanks, guys for being there w us and cheering us all the way! Next time it’s ours.”

Busch wrecked during the final lap of the race, costing him the chance for a win. Even though he was not able to win the iconic race, his fans still remained positive regarding his overall performance during the race and his chances in the upcoming races.

Fans showcased their support towards their favorite driver. Despite all the turmoil that transpired on the track, they remain positive that Busch is in good form for this year. Many even believe that the two-time Cup Series champion might even go on to win several races this year.

Moreover, NFL’s Pat McAfee mentioned how the race was amazing but it was Busch that got “scr*wed.” Many fans mentioned that they were out there rooting for him throughout the duration of the race.

It is always great to see a driver’s fan base be so supportive of their driver despite them hitting a low. With Busch, we believe what he showed us during the Daytona 500 was just the prelude to what is about to come. There might be quite a few wins waiting for him this season.

Hopefully, that might be just enough for his redemption tour, after last year’s ugly divorce with JGR. Fans are certainly looking forward to seeing Rowdy perform at his best this season. Moreover, who knows we might even see him enter Championship 4. While that still remains speculation, this season is sure to charm us all.
