A few days ago, news broke that NFL star Alvin Kamara was going to sponsor a NASCAR team. Needless to say, many in the NASCAR community are excited about his involvement. In the wake of the announcement, Bubba Wallace and Kyle Busch applauded Kamara’s efforts to bridge the two different sports.
Busch tweeted, “Thank you Alvin Kamara for taking such an interest in NASCAR. It’s awesome to have your enthusiasm of our sport around your friends/locker room guys too! Like me, I’m a huge fan of the NFL/players that make the game what it is.”

Apparently, Kamara is so passionate that he offered to bring his teammates to the races. It is also worth noting that driver Ryan Vargas took to social media after problems emerged surrounding his sponsorship. Almost instantly, Kamara swooped in with his juice bar chain, The Big Squeezy, to help out.

Obviously, Kyle Busch and Bubba Wallace are among the many who are happy about the exposure. The sport is readily gaining a lot of attention in the United States. NBA legend Michael Jordan set the ball rolling when he partnered with Denny Hamlin to set up the 23XI Racing team. In addition to that, he even recruited Bubba Wallace to drive the #23 car for the 2021 Cup Series season.
Later on, American rapper Pitbull joined the cause in the NASCAR Cup Series. He became the co-owner of the Team Trackhouse Racing team with Daniel Suarez in the car.

Kamara’s presence will only serve to boost NASCAR’s popularity even higher. As a top NFL star, he has a fair amount of influence among his teammates and friends. In addition to that, he can also bring in a whole new fanbase into the stock car racing scene.
