In the very last months of 2022, Dale Earnhardt Jr. decided to go deeper into writing. His dad, Dale Earnhardt, had a similar talent for writing about his experiences in NASCAR in a newspaper column, which not many people know of. Following in his father’s footsteps, the two-time Xfinity champion launched ‘Buster’s Trip to Victory Lane‘, a book that has been a bedtime partner for thousands of kids across the country now.

People showed the same love for his book as they did for him during his days of racing in the golden generation of NASCAR. Owing to such a hearty response, Junior continued the series with another edition of the popular book.

If you are wondering where the inspiration for the name Buster comes from, do not look too far. According to him, Buster is one of the less intimidating nicknames his father, Dale Earnhardt Sr., went by. The book is based on the story of a race car driver who leaves behind his fears and takes on the challenges of life.
