Earlier this month, Stewart-Haas Racing announced that they would be ending their operations at NASCAR after the 2024 season. It was news that resulted in many mixed reactions from fans and insiders alike. While some believed that this was extremely out of the blue, others say that it was a long time coming. The debate is still on the rise, and people are holding out for an answer, including the team’s driver, Noah Gragson, who expressed his thoughts about the situation.

While nothing else has been explicitly said on the matter, Noah Gragson is asked about his future plans in racing. The No. 10 Ford driver is currently competing in his second season in the NASCAR Cup Series. The driver so far has shown some impressive performances, with five top-ten finishes. But as far as his career with SHR is concerned, things are looking unclear for the moment.

Currently at the Iowa Speedway before the race, he addressed the situation with his team; acknowledging the lack of a definitive answer at this time. As the clock ticks, Gragson is looking for more options and holding onto hope that an opportunity will present itself.

He said, “I don’t know anything yet, haven’t signed anything yet, so just trying to weigh out all the options accordingly and have those conversations. But still looking for an opportunity.”

Can Noah Gragson’s ties place him with a good team?

Furthermore, Noah Gragson acknowledges that he does have good relationships with the people around him, and they are showing their support during this time. So he is weighing all his options and facing the challenges that come his way with optimism and a positive attitude!

Gragson said, according to a Racer.com report, “I’ve got a lot of great people supporting me and have a great support system that I talk to every day and whatnot. You like to tell yourself, ‘Hey, it’s going to be OK. Things are going to be all right,’ but you never really know. I know that in the past when I’ve gotten something signed, I’ve been able to sleep a little better at night, take a deep breath, and fully focus on my day job for the rest of the day. That point hasn’t come yet.

Noah is working towards focusing on things he can control. One of Gragson’s most significant supporters throughout his racing career has been Bass Pro Shops. This sponsorship played a crucial role during his time in the Xfinity Series, providing him with the necessary resources and backing to excel. The partnership flourished when he transitioned to Stewart-Haas Racing, further solidifying their collaboration.

However, at this moment, there is uncertainty surrounding the future of this relationship. Noah Gragson does not have a definitive indication if Bass Pro Shops will continue to sponsor him in his upcoming ventures, regardless of the team or series he joins next. This ambiguity adds a layer of complexity to his career decisions moving forward.

Noah is preparing for races and diverting his attention to getting better at racing and being a better person. He knows that if things go south, he needs to be ready with a backup plan to support him once this season ends. Will there be any other opportunities available for him?

As Stewart-Haas Racing’s uncertain future hangs in the balance, Noah Gragson is focusing on what he can control and preparing for the next chapter in his racing career. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his team’s operations, he remains optimistic about his prospects and is weighing all his options carefully. You never know!” Gragson said, as he hopes to find more opportunities to keep on racing.
