Prominent figures in the NASCAR community have not held back in expressing their dissatisfaction with Paul Tracy’s racing style. Dale Earnhardt Jr minced no words, warning Tracy that messing up Ken Schrader was a big mistake. Schrader had concluded the raising tempers and aggressive racing in Heat 1 of the first race at Stafford, “Man, everybody is just hitting everybody so far.”
Landon Huffman, a fellow driver, humorously pointed out that Tracy has been a liability on the track since the series began. Meanwhile, it was the final 8 laps in Heat 2 when Tracey put Schrader in a spin. Heading into the second race at Stafford, Schrader didn’t let Tracy make a three-wide and ended up sending the former for a spin.

Far from turning a new leaf with SRX reaching the state of Virginia on Thursday, the rivals engaged in a third round of encounters. With just 11 laps to go in the Main Event, a confused Tracy redirected the 2023 Indianapolis winner into the fence along with a cascade of cars. This is the point when Schrader lost it: “I’m not running another race with him. I’m done!”

There was a public driver's meeting today and there was a private one in the driver lounge.
In the latter, Tony Stewart had to bring out the 'dad talk' over how hard everyone was on the SRX equipment and how much work that left FURY Race Cars to do after Stafford II.

Matt Weaver also shared an interview with Tony Stewart, where Tony clearly expressed his frustration with the driver’s behavior. “You told the guys today no more carnage, and they kinda ramped it up. Is no one listening?” Tony got asked.
“You wonder,” Tony responded. “There’s a majority that do and then there is very small majority and a small handful that just can’t seem to figure it out. So, we’ll get through this year.”

NASCAR fans have taken to social media to express their growing impatience with Paul Tracy’s continuous wrecking spree. With a series of disappointed and angry comments, fans have labeled Tracy a “hack” and questioned why he was brought back for another year. Many criticized his history of causing wrecks, with some calling for a permanent ban from racing.
“Paul Tracy has been a wrecking ball his entire career. There’s a reason why Penske fired him in the late 90s, and it wasn’t because he wasn’t fast. I remember a race at Phoenix in which he lapped the field twice, but crashed, eventually leading to Mario Andretti’s final victory.”
“You know he’s the bad guy when he made Ken say he wants to quit SRX on live TV.”
