The Netflix series, Race: Bubba Wallace has finally been released, and the reactions are coming in thick and fast. There have been several reactions from fans coming in for the portrayal of several aspects of Wallace’s life, both at the personal and professional stages. At one point in the series, Wallace pointed out that he now rivals Kyle Busch in the ‘Most Booed Driver’ category. Fortunately for Wallace, there are several allies who will firmly back him amidst the haters. Chief among them is his 23XI Racing spotter, Freddie Kraft.

Kraft even took the time to answer questions on why Bubba Wallace was not well-liked among the fans. Needless to say, the spotter insisted that the hate comes from people who do not care to listen to him. He even mocked people who said that nobody was watching the series. One fairly honest user noted that, while he does not like how Wallace raced on the track, he respected him away from it.

Kraft got the last laugh, with this statement, “Thanks for the amazing feedback! But a really special thanks to those of you that could have just not said anything, but chose to reply that you wouldn’t watch. You guys really help drive those engagement numbers up, so we could reach an even bigger audience. You da real MVP!”

One observation that people had, that no one can deny, is that Bubba Wallace has had a huge impact on the sport. Others suggested that some fans do not like him is because he gained attention despite the lack of wins. Aside from the criticisms, it was heartening to see that the praise outweighed the hate. In fact, many fans on Twitter insisted that they either loved the series, or they are in the middle of it or are excited to watch it.

All said and done, Wallace would like to do most of his talking on the track and silence his critics with impressive performances in the 2022 season.
