The Noah Gragson and Ross Chastain incident has turned into a major controversy. This started after Gragson decided to confront Chastain but instead got punched in the face. Following this incident, a NASCAR insider recently claimed that Gragson should not have approached Chastain in the manner that he did. Moreover, the insider also believed that the confrontation brought forth Chastain’s most feared side.
Brett Grifin believes Gragson’s confrontation made everyone fear Ross Chastain
Griffin stated, “Mama told me that if you think you’re gonna get in a fight, you better swing first because if you don’t swing first you might not get swing at all. So if Noah wanted to go confront him. You can’t put your hands on a man and expect him not to hit you in the mouth, which he did hit him in the mouth.”

“He hit him on the jaw and he hit it pretty hard too. Audible that is relatively loud… I mean, there’s a cool picture on Twitter of Joey literally taking a sip of his Coca-Cola right as it gets clocked…”
“Ross threw hands. I mean, this is like the third or fourth time we’ve seen him in his NASCAR career throw punches. And maybe this is why everybody is scared to confront Ross.
Brendan Poole, like he obviously don’t wanna throw hands because he says somebody needs to go whoop him (Chastain).”
“Well, I’m gonna tell you who didn’t whoop him yesterday was the guy who grabbed him. If you grab my shirt, or you push me, I’m going to hit you in the mouth because I don’t know what else your intentions are. It’s self-defense,” he concluded.

In the podcast, Griffin discussed the fight, saying, “If you’re a security guy and your intention is to break the fight up as soon as they grab each other. What should you do?
You gave Ross an advantage by letting Ross throw a punch and then not letting Noah…” He then questioned his co-hosts about the fairness of stopping the fight immediately after Chastain’s punch.

Regardless of who had the advantage, it is evident that Gragson will not let this slide easily. He still has a retaliation to deliver to the Trackhouse Racing Team driver.
