The tale of Big Pharma is not a new one; Martin Shkreli was one of the biggest fish to be caught, but he was not the only one. That is public knowledge, an open secret. Few have the courage to speak up against it, and Danica Patrick has been one of them for a long time.

Danica Patrick was supremely fit during her time in racing. Competing in top-drawer series such as the Cup Series, an athlete cannot let their proverbial hair down with regard to their body.
In her ambition to be the best, Patrick followed a very healthy diet, coupled with a lot of exercises. There is no surprise that many regarded her as one of the hottest sports persons when Swimsuit Magazine featured her on their cover page.
The former Stewart Haas Racing driver’s love for fitness has also led her to a path where she became a detractor of pharma companies. Big Pharma has been notorious, in the opinion of some, for pumping money in ways to keep their products in high demand. And that’s the path Patrick has always followed.

For instance, she shared a meme earlier this year that made a hilarious take on pharma company malpractices. The meme read “Pharma watching you heal yourself” and had a woman staring down in disbelief and disappointment.
Once again, she has shown her stance on the issue with her new Instagram story. The story read “Last year Pharma made 1.27 trillion dollars. Yet not a single penny went into teaching you how to get healthier. You aren’t their priority, money is.”
There will always be those who support and those who don’t, but pharma practices have largely been infamous for their malice. The question is – who has the guts to raise their voice?
Danica Patrick had a tough time dealing with her breasts
The beautiful Patrick struggled with her own insecurities and probably continues to do so. Under the influence of them, she decided to get breast implants inserted in 2014, but that turned out to be a terrible decision.
In an interview earlier this year, she admitted that her decision ended up backfiring big time as she suffered from breast implant illness.

“Everything seemed fine the first couple of years and then I would say that the issues… crept in at about mainly in three years later. Over those next four years…issues continued to compound. Mine were very physical manifestations.,” she explained on the HypochondriActor podcast.
She suffered from terrible symptoms such as stubborn weight gain, unexplained hair loss, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, and high metal toxicity in her blood. After a long ordeal, she finally decided to get the implants removed – and the symptoms reversed.
Her goal was to spread awareness about the disease. She said, “This is a journey I felt compelled to share. If you are struggling and you have implants and you can’t fix it, there can be something wrong with them. They could be making you sick. I think it’s an important message for people to know because I tried so hard and tried many things.”
