Rivalries are at the core of NASCAR, and what happens on track extends off the track and drivers hold grudges. That’s what it is like to live a fast-paced life (on weekends). And the same happened between Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski.

But Busch really got his Eminem on, before Eminem even did it!

During the 2011 Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Busch’s ultimate rival, Keselowski took shots at the driver. During the pre-race introductions, after the driver of the #18 car did his intro, Brad came on to say, “Kyle Busch is an as*”

And a reporter asked the driver what he felt about Keselowski’s comments in a press conference later. And, Of course, Kyle Busch being, well, Kyle Busch, replied with, “who?”, “Yeah, I don’t know what you’re talking about.” It’s hilarious, the driver completely rejected the existence of the 2012 Cup Series Champion.

But the interesting part is someone actually copied him, someone big. And that “someone” is, none other than the hip-hop icon, Eminem. Now, you 2000s people will get hit with a big kick of nostalgia, because the rapper did the exact same thing, 3 years later in 2013.

Eminem won the MTV Global Icon Award. And in the same award, Ron Burgundy, better known as Will Ferrell, talked about another fellow rapper, Afrojack, talking “sh*t” about Eminem. To which the rapper savagely replied, “Who?”

This is an iconic piece of NASCAR history, and the fans seem to adore it too! Well, it’s not often that you see a music icon copy a NASCAR driver.

The fans love what Kyle Busch said to Brad Keselowski

Something as classic as this deserves the appreciation it got. And let’s be honest, Busch is probably the first name that fans think of when asked about a savage driver.

We should note that after the whole Keselowski scene, Busch won his first-ever race at Bristol, in 2011.
