Everyone knows the story of Jack and the Giant Slayer. While the whole story is based on a fairy tale, what remains funny and awe-inspiring is the difference in the physical attributes of the two lead characters. As the name suggests the Giant is a well-built character and compared to him Jack seems to be a puny little man. While one can only imagine what it could be like in real life, Tony Stewart seemed to have already savored a similar experience.
Tony Stewart is left awe-struck by the physique of former WWE star
One can always expect the unexpected when Tony Stewart straps himself into a racing car. Whether it’s a stock car of NASCAR, or the open-wheels of IndyCar, this Hall of Famer has time and again proved that racing runs deep in his veins. As a result, the 52-year-old, who had hung up his NASCAR helmet ages ago, once again let his competitive juices flow out, but this time it was in the world of drag racing. The Hall of Famer replaced his dragster wife, Leah Pruett, as the couple hopes to extend their family.

Nonetheless, “rookie” Stewart was joined by his teammate and 4x Funny Car Champion Matt Hagan for his debut in the Gatornationals. While the SHR team owner failed to enthrall the fans after his early exit from the season, he himself was left awestruck by the physique of ‘The Monster of All Monsters’ Braun Strowman. The Intercontinental Champion had graced the tracks of Gatornationals and watching his teammate Hagan beside the 6ft 8inch wrestler, Stewart was blown away. Although Hagan also boasts of a body that is burly in nature, Stewart was heard saying, “He (Matt) looks like a baby.”
Moreover, the Smoke added to one of his team members, “This is stupid. It’s like me standing next to him. Thomas, you are the biggest guy we got over here. If something goes wrong just grab my leg, grab my ankle, grab and jerk and don’t stop till we get somewhere where they can’t find us.” However, the hilarity doesn’t end there.
While posing for a picture with the former WWE star, Hagan asked Stewart, “Get in the middle.” To this, Stewart hilariously exclaimed, “Oh yeah, that really makes sense. I am going to look like an infant over here.”
The picture sure looked surreal not only for Stewart but many, given the build of the Strowman. Stewart’s off-track shenanigans might have been very enjoyable for the racer but his on-track results certainly didn’t look too promising. However, the rookie isn’t taking everything to his heart yet.

Tony Stewart is content despite his poor debut in NHRA
Nevertheless, despite all the anticipation, the 3x Cup Series champion failed to stand a ground in the Gatornationals. He made five passes during the season-opening sprint and four in the qualifying but fell short to Justin Ashley and was eliminated from the series. Despite facing an early exit, Stewart recorded the quickest reaction time of 0.021 seconds.

Speaking about his experiences in the NHRA debut, Stewart expressed, “It’s not like I’m leaving here going, ‘Oh, I’ve got all of this figured out’. Had a solid weekend and didn’t make mistakes. Every run we make, there’s going to be new things that come up that I’m going to have to figure out.”
“We’ve talked about them. You can talk about them all day long. Until you experience them and feel them, it’s a different deal. Everything that we did this weekend went great, but in a couple of weeks, it could go 180 degrees on us,” Stewart added.
