NASCAR’s longstanding beer partner, Anheuser-Busch, may soon face stiff competition after years of unrivaled collaboration. Currently, Busch Light remains the primary sponsor for races and teams. However, the introduction of Hulk Hogan’s new beer brand, ‘Real American Beer,’ has the potential to shake up these established dynamics.
Fans are accustomed to seeing Hulk Hogan sparring in the wrestling ring, so his latest venture into the beer industry has caught many off guard. This unexpected move has sparked curiosity about what motivated Hogan to launch his own beer brand. Well, as the man himself shed some light on it, the inspiration behind this new journey is to “bring America back together, one beer at a time.”

Having retired from WWE, Hogan took a break to explore different projects. During a fan convention, he met with an executive from Pabst Blue Ribbon, his father’s favorite beer brand. Although offered an endorsement role, Hogan envisioned a different path—launching his own beer brand.
Observing the landscape of the beer market change, the 70-year-old rolled out his ambitious project to capture the open lane. “Me and Stone Cold were out in the ring, and we had a little problem there. Instead of going back out to the ring fighting, I said, Hey brother, let’s have a beer and talk about it. So the idea came from just getting together and talking over a beer, so I said I’ve got a beer – Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer that will bring America back together,” Hogan explained to Fan Controlled.
He emphasized the power of American culture in uniting people across backgrounds, which his beer aspires to promote. “It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from, race, color what your essential preference is, it’s even bigger than politics … So I said if I can get America to buy into this because we need a really good beer in that open lane, and if this beer can bring America back together, one beer at a time, that’s what I want to do.”
Moreover, the former WWE superstar is confident that ‘Real American Beer’ is exceptional and has the potential to become a major player in the beer market, capturing NASCAR fans in the process.

This easy-drinking lager, brewed with 100% North American ingredients and boasting a 4.2% ABV, is set to challenge industry giants like Bud Light. Based on the initial response and the nationwide reach, Hogan believes he is onto something extraordinary with the launch of his beer brand.
“So we rolled out; the momentum is crazy. We’re rolling out 25 states right away, and the response has been unbelievable, and the darn beer tastes good too. That’s how this went down and I’m just getting beat up traveling… So I hang out with the fans and talk about the beer and listen to the old stories, and I think we’re on something this time,” Hulk Hogan added.

When it comes to sports, few sports are as quintessentially American as NASCAR. That is why Real American Beer will debut on the No. 14 SS Green Light Racing Fan Controlled car in the Xfinity race at Pocono. With EssentiallySports also serving as a key partner in this collaboration, Hogan was asked in an exclusive interview if Real American Beer could become NASCAR’s next go-to beverage. With unwavering optimism, Hogan responded, “Honestly, brother, I think it really will be!”
The stage is set for Real American Beer to make its first appearance this week at Pocono Raceway. Hopefully, with luck on his side, Mason Massey will steer the No. 14 car to victory lane, heralding a triumphant entry for the beer brand into the NASCAR arena.
