Back in 2015, Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano clashed with each other at the Martinsville Speedway. It all started when Kenseth in the #20 car tried to sneak down the inside of Logano. Unfortunately, Kenseth only succeeded in punting the Team Penske driver into a spin and straight into a wall. The then-Joe Gibbs Racing driver wasn’t spared either, as he also went straight into the outside wall.
An irate Logano exclaimed, “Are you kidding me?! That’s ridiculous! The WWE fans are happy, aren’t they? Matt just got more fans than he ever got in his whole life, right there. That’s just awesome. I think he’s the most popular driver right now.”
Meanwhile, his crew dubbed the lunge a ‘chicken-sh**’ move and declared that many knew that a move was coming. However, Logano argued that the corner in which Kenseth pulled off the move was not the right place.

What were the consequences of the Joey Logano and Matt Kenseth crash?
It was utterly devastating for the #22 driver, as he was on pole position and led the most laps. In addition to that, he was in the title race and competing to make it into the Championship 4. Sadly, he fell afoul of Kenseth, who was nowhere near the title fight and was a lap down.

Apparently, he had a long-lasting feud with both Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski. It all started in 2014 at Richmond when Keselowski got loose and bumped into Kenseth. From there, things spiraled off out of control until the 2015 Cup race at the Kansas Speedway. At that time, Logano tagged the Joe Gibbs Racing driver into a spin and into the wall.

Later on, Kenseth got bruised up at Kansas in an incident involving Brad Keselowski. In the same race, a heavily damaged #20 Toyota punted Joey Logano out of the race, costing him a Final 4 berth. The JGR driver tried to justify his actions, but an incensed Logano dubbed it as a cowardly move.
