The Truck Series championship race in Phoenix really lived up to its name. In fact, the title decider was a thrilling race with multiple cautions as the drivers took the approach of “rubbing is racing” to heart. The race was extremely competitive and dramatic, as drivers got into each other even in the closing laps of the race.

In the 131st lap of the race, Alpha Prime Racing driver Parsons met his match when Bayley Currey turned the #45 into the wall off of turn 3 bringing up the red lights for a cleanup. While the two trucks collided into the wall, Daniel Dye was caught in the scuffle, sending the poor GMS Racing driver into the wall in the process.

Debris scattered around the track as the trucks collided with each other, with oil and water leaking into the track, prompting NASCAR to push the red light switch for a cleanup.
