When one thinks of the top 50 NASCAR drivers throughout the history of the sport, the first names that come to mind are either Dale Earnhardt Sr or Richard Petty, right? There have been several more prominent drivers who marked their presence. Leaving behind their masterful skills on track as their legacies to be remembered by many. However, recently, Brad Keselowski shared a tweet that contained a picture of a photo frame, which highlighted the top 50 drivers of the sport. The poster celebrated the 50 years of NASCAR and honored the top 50 drivers accordingly.

Well, how about some of the newer generations of drivers? One can surely imagine someone like Jimmie Johnson with his 7 titles making it on the list. There are several more who could be considered to be the top 50 drivers in the history of the sport. Tony Stewart is one of them who, throughout his career, won 49 races and three Cup Series championships.

We could also consider Kyle Busch, who won around 60 races and two Cup Series championships. Furthermore, one can even toss the name of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Although he never had any championship victories, he still had an impressive 26 Cup Series wins.

Sharing the picture of the top-50 poster, Keselowski said, Pretty dang cool. Makes me wonder who the top 50 would be today.Right after he tweeted the question swarms of fans came in to suggest their takes regarding the matter.

Fans suggest their take on the top 50 NASCAR drivers

Fans suggested a few prominent names in the sport, who they think should make it to the top 50 list. Most of them were surrounding the likes of Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, and Jimmie Johnson. Some of them also suggested a few other names, such as Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, and Kevin Harvick from the current grid.

Many were surprised that someone like Johnson wasn’t added in yet. Considering his record-equalling championship titles with that of Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Sr.

However, this was not an official list, but rather a Christmas present received by a podcast. But the addition of these few names onto the poster would definitely have been a great thing. Would you agree?
