When M&M’s announced that it was leaving NASCAR at the end of the season, it sent massive waves. The biggest casualties of this bombshell were Joe Gibbs Racing and Kyle Busch. This was because M&M’s was Busch’s long-time primary sponsor. Naturally, this brought on a lot of speculation about the #18 driver’s future in the sport.

The good news is that Richard Childress Racing finally threw him a lifeline. So the 2-time Cup Series champion will join the #8 team from 2023 onwards. In the months building up to that announcement, Busch would have undoubtedly been stressed about the whole situation. Now, he can finally breathe easy and find time to enjoy the rest of 2022, knowing that his future is secure. So, he and his wife Samantha attended a Pitbull concert.

What connects Kyle Busch and rapper Pit Bull?

Suffice to say, everyone had a lot of fun at the performance. It is interesting to note though, that both Kyle Busch and Pitbull have a NASCAR connection. As it turns out, the rapper is a part owner of the Trackhouse Racing team along with Justin Marks. The organization currently competes with Ross Chastain, driving the #1 car, and Daniel Suarez in the #99 car.

They enjoyed a great 2022 Cup Series campaign with both drivers reaching the Playoffs. Although Suarez was eliminated early in the second round, Chastain is still in championship contention. This weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, he will have a shot at making the Championship 4.

However, he will be forced to fend off six other drivers for three spots. Already, Joey Logano has booked his berth after winning at Las Vegas. As a result, there will be a lot of pressure on Ross Chastain and the remaining drivers. However, Kyle Busch will not be one of them, as he was eliminated in the opening round of the Playoffs.
