Fans could not hold back their reactions to the slurpy sight, and neither could Stephen Mallozzi, as he commented, “Everyone else getting married and Byron just livin life with the ice cream I LOVE IT.”

The NASCAR break has been a wedding gala for a major part, but there were also rumors about Byron’s breakup with his long-term girlfriend, Erin Blaney. Since the news has not been confirmed, the fans are jogging their brains over it. The #24 driver has also taken a low-key backseat, so it’s hard to lean on either possibility.

Breakups can be tough and can affect mental peace and work sometimes. Looking at Willy B’s performance this year and comparing it with last year’s, some dots can be linked to the breakup rumors. But then, it’s a competition and there can only be one winner. Byron is at the sixth rank, which is impressive at this point, and consistent with his 2022 stats.

The breakup tittle-tattle has been around for a few months. Spectators even linked the heated battle between Ryan Blaney and William Byron for the track position to the alleged breakup. But we can’t be sure. People often see what they want to believe and keep finding proof to support it.

Some fans who commented on Willy B’s ice cream post were plain and simply appreciative. “Byron with the ice cream is priceless between the wedding pics,” wrote one user. There were heartfelt wishes for the season ahead by some others. But many were taking digs at the elephant in the room.
