William Byron voiced his apprehensions about the upcoming race in Chicago. He shared his thoughts with Denny Hamlin, saying, “Ah, that’s tough. I mean, I think it’s going to be hard to pass. I don’t think there’s going to be any passing.”
Byron’s concern about the lack of passing opportunities suggests that the track conditions in Chicago might present challenges for drivers. He further added, “I think it’s going to be restarts and it’s going to be strategy, I think it’s going to be big time strategy but I can see it being like the oval”
He also expressed his apprehension and fears as he said, “Yeah, bumpy, off camber kind of corners but yeah I haven’t ran enough to know what it’s like but I know turn 4 is like a fast right-hander that goes off camber, I think there’s going to be a lot of turbulence there, a lot of left rears.”

Like I just, what the hell?!”
His comment suggests that he encountered difficulties while practicing on the simulator.
Byron jokingly advised against betting on Hamlin for the race, to which Hamlin responded, “I’ve got it figured out, I’ve got it figured.”
