In the prank, Samantha Busch handed her husband a pullover to wear, except he didn’t know it was way too small to fit him. While she expected that to be the end, to her surprise, Kyle Busch went along with it, even adding his own twist to it! “Big guy in a little coat,” Busch sang as he struggled to fit into the pullover.

This is just the latest in the line of the Busch couple’s Instagram banter, one fans are all too familiar with. On one occasion, when Kyle Busch won at the Bristol Speedway, he pulled out a broom as a way of celebrating, cleaning out confetti. His wife Samantha had other plans. On Toyota Racing’s Instagram post of the celebration, she wrote a cheeky dig aimed at her husband, saying, “Funny he doesn’t know where the broom is at home.”

Busch went on to explain his appreciation for his wife later on. “No, it’s fine, I mean, it’s all in good humor. She’s a good play-along, play with words, right, so she goes along with some of that stuff. I think I left the door wide open for those sorts of comments with how I scripted my text underneath my post, so she played that well.”

As for the fans, they could not get enough of the prank!

While the Busch family laughed, fans too joined in on the fun. After Kyle Busch sang his song, fans quickly picked up on the reference he made. The little song Kyle Busch sang, about the coat being too small was a nod to the movie ‘Tommy Boy’ that is titled ‘Fat Guy in a Little Coat’. Catching on to this, one fan commented, “Tommy Boy was the first thing I thought of,” meaning Busch’s joke worked perfectly.

Another fan turned appreciative of Kyle Busch’s sense of humor. The comment said, “It’s hilarious because you can pinpoint the exact moment when you decided “Yup, I’m putting this on anyway… if I die I die” LOL.” This is not the first time Busch played along with one of his wife’s jokes. Recently, Kyle Busch starred in a small video for his wife, one that played an audio that said “I work for my wife. She’s the boss,” as he helped out in her boutique. These moments with the couple are what makes the fans love them so much.

One comment took a sly dig at Busch. Since the pullover didn’t fit him, the fan jested that it was the effect of eating at the different restaurants located around the late. “Been eating at them lakeside eateries too much.” The fan refers to the $7.5 million, 15,000-square-foot mansion Busch bought at Lake Norman back in 2012. While he lived there for a considerable amount of time, the property was listed for sale last year.

While the prank showed Busch putting on the pullover, Samantha’s prank left them with a burning question. Did he manage to get out of it, and how did he do so? This sparked off an idea for another video, as one fan suggested, “Now we need a video with him getting out of it.” Some fans could not help but fawn over the adorable couple with comments like, “Yall r 2 cute!”
