In a statement, she exclaimed, “Hi, we are in the pace car right now, at the pit road, and they said they didn’t have anybody in the pace car today and asked if Brexton and I wanted to go along. This is so cool. Here we go! I literally can’t stop smiling, this is so cool, like obviously we’ve been attending races forever, but to watch it from a pace car is awesome.”

Reflecting on the race, Busch remarked, “Our short-track stuff has been a struggle this year. We knew we really wanted to come out here and set a focus on running at a shorter track. I felt like this was a good precursor to what we have coming for the rest of the year.”
