Earlier, the Op Point Motorsports team announced that they are roping in Brennan Poole. The 30-year-old last raced for the team in 2020 and reunited with them on a part-time basis. Earlier this year, he broke his wrist in a snowboarding accident, but has since recovered.
Now, Poole is going to compete in his first 2021 NASCAR Truck race when he takes the wheel of the #30 Toyota. Additionally, Poole will make his Camping World Truck Series return at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.

“I’m excited to be working with On Point Motorsports again and grateful to be back behind the wheel after my injury,” Poole said. “Thank you to everyone who has made this possible.”
Brennan Poole will be glad to be back in action
His wrist injury sidelined him for three months, though the COVID shutdown did minimise the damage to his career. To make matters worse, he lost his full-time Cup Series seat at Premium Motorsports at the end of 2020. On the bright side, he did grab a points finish with a best run of tenth at Talladega.

Asit turned out, it was his first full campaign since the 2016 and 2017 Xfinity Series seasons. At that time, Brennan Pool raced for the Chip Ganassi Racing team. During that tenure he finished eighth and sixth in the respective seasons.
After his CGR stint, Poole entered the On Point Motorsports stable on a part-time basis in the Truck series. Around that time, he recorded a best finish of second at Charlotte. Since then, he has stuck with the outfit for eleven races in 2020 before he no longer became eligible for the series.

Now, he is sharing On Point Motorsports driving duties with Danny Bohn and Michele Abbate. Bohn has recorded a best finish of 17th and drove most of the races. Meanwhile, Abbate finished twenty-ninth in her NASCAR début at the Circuit of the Americas in May. Now, Poole will be eager to improve on those results and be the best driver in the team.
