Ross Chastain has been known for being the most hated NASCAR Cup Series driver across the field, thanks to his on-track shenanigans. Recently, Chastain’s social media post was flooded with sarcastic comments from Nascar Fans. This comes ahead of the race at Watkins Glen.

Chastain’s rather aggressive driving style is not always welcomed by a lot of fans and drivers alike. This season specifically he has managed to turn half the field against him after he caused multiple crashes that ended other driver’s races. During the last race at Richmond raceway, Kyle Busch claimed,“We got Chastain’d this week,” after the number one car made him spin and ruined his race altogether. Other drivers like Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, and Denny Hamlin among several other drivers have complained about Chastain’s nature to cause accidents and ruin other people’s outings.

However, the string of hate wasn’t only from the drivers but also the fans as well.

NASCAR fans leave sarcastic comments on Ross Chastain’s Twitter post

Ahead of the race at Watkins Glen, Ross Chastain had posted two pictures of him standing on the track at Watkins Glen International. NASCAR fans were quick to jump over and start posting highly sarcastic comments regarding his driving style and the way he ruins other driver’s races.

One fan, in particular asked that whose race was Chastain planning to ruin next. While others hopped onto the “wreck” train and kept posting comments. A few others asked if he was looking for the spot to find a shortcut for himself, in reference to the race at Indianapolis road course, where he cut across the field avoiding a wreck and went on to battle for the lead only to be penalized for his actions.

Chastain probably would not be very pleased to read those comments being thrown at him. But given that driving in an aggressive mannerism is his regular style, one can only hope that he avoids carnage during the race.
