Let’s start with Hailie Deegan, who has already made quite a name for herself for being the first female to have won at the K&N Pro West Series. However, it’s the 22-year-old’s impressive showings in the Truck Series that have paved the way for her to enter the next big step. Signed with AM Racing, Deegan will drive the No.15 Ford throughout the season. She has shown that she has the potential to compete against the best drivers, and that will be tested soon.

Next, we have Shane van Gisbergen, the Kiwi maestro who has already taken NASCAR by storm by winning his debut Cup race at the Chicago Road course last year. The Project91 program by Trackhouse Racing unearthed his talents and brought him into the NASCAR circuit. Now an alliance with Kaulig Racing will see him put up a challenge for the title of ‘Rookie of the Year’ in this year’s Xfinity series. SVG is a seasoned race car driver and has all the right credentials to take the series by storm. He is also among the favorites to clinch the championship.

Next up, we have Jesse Love, who also puts up a strong case for himself on the back of a championship-winning season with Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards series. 10 wins in his campaign last year prompted Richard Childress Racing to sign him on a full-time schedule for the Xfinity series. At just 19 he certainly can prove to be a surprise package in winning races and handing out big upsets piloting the No.2 Chevy for RCR.

Joining the list is another teenager, Leland Honeyman. The 18-year-old has made 11 starts in the Xfinity Series, including three DNQs, with his P21 finish at Charlotte for Alpha Prime Racing being the best of his career. Now banking on the young gun to deliver in the Xfinity, Young’s Motorsports has given him the responsibility to pilot the No.42 Chevy full-time for 2024.

With new faces and talents looking to leave an impact, seasoned drivers are also eyeing nothing but a championship finish.

With three wins last season, including the finale win at Phoenix, he sure is amongst the top contenders to claim the championship title. Chandler Smith is another driver who will be eyeing to clinch the top spot for himself after his last season’s finish. The driver sure has a ton of potential and promise.

Sam Mayer must have thought that 2022 would be his year after 19 top-ten finishes. However, a championship win escaped him by a whisker when he finished third. Going by the trend, and his consistent outings in the series, nothing less than a podium finish would be a good result for the 20-year-old. Concluding this list, we have a surprise pick of A.J. Allmendinger. With his Cup Series full-time dream concluded, he will be back in the Xfinity Series with Kaulig Racing. His consistent performances in the promotion in 2021 and 2022 do allow him to be a part of this conversation.
