This weekend is the 2022 Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Coliseum. It will be the first time that the NASCAR Cup Series paddock races at the venue, and it promises to be exciting. The race marks the unofficial start of the racing season and a bit of warmup before the real season kicks off. So this begs the question about where fans can watch the race and at what time.
First and foremost, FOX Sports has the exclusive rights to cover the event. This ranges from practice to qualifying, the heat races, last chance qualifiers, and the race itself. Live coverage kicks off on Saturday, February 5th with a single practice session broadcast on FS2 at 12:30 pm ET. Once that is complete, qualifying will commence at 8:30 pm ET and it will be broadcast on FS1.
When Sunday rolls by, coverage will begin at 3 pm ET on FOX Sports. This starts off with a handful of heat races before the main event at 6 pm ET.

What to expect from the NASCAR Busch Light Clash at the LA Coliseum?
It is worth mentioning that this race is hugely important for the sport. This is because it marks the competitive debut of the Next Gen cars. In addition to that, it allows us to see how drivers and teams adapt to new environments after the annual musical chairs. It will also be a chance to see how drivers perform in cars that they are still getting used to, at an unfamiliar track.

This is a historic moment for the legendary stadium in Los Angeles. It has already played host to the Olympic Games as well as many University of Southern California (USC) sporting events. Ahead of its NASCAR debut, the stadium received a massive facelift and transformed into a quarter-mile asphalt short track. During this process, the infield grass was removed and replaced with asphalt. Additionally, workers erected walls and catch fences in the form of a unique paperclip shape.
