Back in 2016, a fresh-faced Bubba Wallace was just making his mark in the NASCAR scene. Around that time, he met Bank of America’s financial analyst, Amanda Carter. From there, the two of them hit it off right away and began dating. An Appalachian State University graduate, she was also the vice president of the Alpha Phi International Fraternity.

Although the couple has kept their relationship rather low-key, Carter has supported Wallace in his NASCAR career. She stuck with him through thick and thin and his highs and lows. So, in July 2021, Bubba Wallace finally got down on one knee and proposed to her. The year marked five years of the couple dating, so they obviously felt that it was time for the next step.

A year before he proposed, Wallace and Carter adopted a puppy called Asher. Since then, the trio have been living together and are looking forward to the wedding. Speaking of which, the 23XI Racing star confirmed they are getting married on New Year’s Eve. This is a pretty auspicious occasion, as they will also be eager to ring in the New Year as newlyweds.
Wallace frequently indulges in off-track hobbies, of which drumming is one. He once revealed the various arrangements he has made at his house so that he didn’t end up disturbing Carter.

Beyond that, Bubba Wallace will enjoy some time away from the track and recharge his batteries. This is because he knows that 2023 is another chance to prove himself. His 2022 season was a little better, with a more consistent run and a second career win in the Cup Series. However, Wallace will be eager to reach the Playoffs, especially since he has displayed his capacity to win.
