For one of her podcasts, Danica Patrick asked several drivers how they recalled the time when they raced alongside her. One of the standout comments came from the Hall of Famer and former driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr, who recalled some of their best memories together from that era.

During the podcast, Junior can be heard saying, “you’re fun to keep up with, a little challenging to keep up with but we’re always thinking about you.”
Danica then stated that she remembered a certain party hosted at Junior’s backyard and how they got a little too drunk. Although she does not recall the event all so well, she stated that there was a “fun boomerang picture with all of us in the backyard.”

Earnhardt Jr was seen being generally appreciative of Patrick and it seemed that the two often had fun times with each other’s families.
In general, Patrick has been highly regarded in the American open-wheel racing community, arguably even more so than in the Cup Series, since she holds the honors of being the only woman to ever win an IndyCar race.

The IndyCar win was not the only time she made history during her illustrious career. There was a time during her Cup Series days when she started the race from the pole position, thereby becoming the only woman to ever do so.

Patrick had shunned her critiques after she put on a stellar performance in the NASCAR Nationwide Series which is currently known as the Xfinity Series.
This was back in 2013 during the Daytona 500, where she turned out to be the fastest driver out on track during qualifying.

Sadly, in the end, she could only muster a P8 at the iconic race. Her highest-ever finish in the NASCAR Cup Series came the following year at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the form of a P6.
