It is quite interesting to note that Dale Earnhardt Jr has an automobile ‘graveyard’. A few years ago, Earnhardt Jr added another car to the graveyard. This particular NASCAR car was Danica Patrick’s 2017 Cup car, which she drove for Stewart-Haas Racing. What was special about this car was that it was promoting that year’s Wonder Woman film, starring Gal Gadot.

That particular car and livery was used at the Kansas Speedway. Unfortunately for Patrick, she got caught up in a massive wreck with Joey Logano and Aric Almirola.

Naturally, the car was absolutely totaled and unfixable, so it couldn’t be used for racing anymore. Later on, Dale Jr performed the ‘last rites’ for Patrick’s Ford Fusion and had it shipped to his graveyard.

What happened when it reached Dale Earnhardt Jr’s car graveyard?

Apparently, the car was stripped down even further when it arrived at Earnhardt’s farm. To be exact, when it touched down at Mooresville, North Carolina, it was practically a carcass. This was because the entire front end, including the engine, was taken out.

As it turned out, a team member from Patrick’s team approached Earnhardt about the car. He wanted to know if the former NASCAR driver was willing to give the Wonder Woman-themed car a proper funeral. Before long, the trashed car was loaded onto an old pickup truck and driven to its final resting ground.

Suffice to say, Dale Earnhardt Jr. seemed proud of the new addition to his collection. Admittedly, when he boasted on Twitter, NASCAR Hall of Famer and former teammate Mark Martin could not resist jumping into the conversation.

All that he was doing was poking fun at Dale Jr. and wondering if it was the truck being added to the graveyard or the car. Obviously, Dale Jr. was quick to serve a comeback to his former teammate and rival.
