Earlier, news broke that Craftsman Tools will be the primary sponsor for the NASCAR Truck Series. However, it is interesting to note that the company is also sponsoring Truck Series driver Hailie Deegan.
Admittedly, one has to wonder if this presents a bit of a conflict of interest. Fortunately for her, this does not affect her chances of racing at all.

First and foremost, Deegan’s primary sponsor is Monster Energy, while Craftsman is an occasional sponsor. Additionally, there have been many cases where NASCAR drivers have the same sponsor as the series’ sponsor.
A prime example is Kurt Busch, who has Monster Energy as his sponsor and the energy drink brand often sponsor’s the NASCAR Cup Series.
What lies ahead for Hailie Deegan in her NASCAR career?
So far in the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series, Deegan has had a very up-and-down campaign. Her best finish in the current season is 10th place at Mid-Ohio.

She has not broken into the Top 10 ever since. Now, there are just five races left in the Truck Series season and she lies 21st in the standings. Unless her form dramatically picks up in the final five races, she will have to settle for 21st.

In her entire Truck Series career, Hailie Deegan has recorded a best finish of 7th place. That result came at the Gateway Motorsports Park, last year in her first full-time season for David Gilliland Racing. Of course, the driver is only 21 years old, so there is plenty of time for her to hone her craft and continue to gain experience.
