So, it is true. No winter lasts forever, and no spring skips its turn. And who else other than Kyle Busch can vouch for that? After struggling to find himself a sponsor for over a year, Kyle Busch is finally happy and excited about his long list of sponsors at Richard Childress Racing. After setting two new records with his recent Pala Casino 400 win, Kyle Busch revealed that he is excited about his future at RCR.

In his appearance on NASCAR Live Podcast, talking about this past Sunday, Busch said, “Was able to carry the car over to victory lane. Just a special day all around and exciting as well too, just the future that we have with RCR in the next few years.”

Furthermore, the two-time Cup Series champion explained why he feels that weekly sponsors are a great thing for him. He shared, “You said sponsors changing weekly… which is great, you know. It’s nice to have sponsors on the race car. We’ve got some really good ones that are slated for the remainder of the year to keep continuing to get ourselves to the race tracks.”

“So, we have got a great group of those that we are excited about. 3CHI at Daytona… was so close to getting them that Daytona 500. And then, Lucas Oil, Cheddar’s is coming up, Alsco this weekend, Lenovo in Atlanta. So, got all of them…we’re gonna have here in the next few months.”

Why Kyle Busch and his recent win was unexpected for some?

There is no doubt that last year was quite tough for Kyle Busch. However, what made it worse was some dubious comments about Busch’s future in NASCAR. For example, the time when Bubba Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft doubted Busch’s transition from a faster #18 Toyota to RCR’s comparatively slower #8 Chevrolet.

In his podcast, Kraft said, “Kyle Busch has never really had to do more with less. He has always been in the best sh*t in the garage…it’s gonna be interesting to see how he does now. We will see if he can turn that ship around and make it a good car.”

But now, with Joe Gibbs Racing and the tumultuous times behind him, Busch seems to have fared quite well in his new home at RCR. From having a good run at Daytona to clinching the Auto Club 400, Busch has really turned that ship around quite well.
