Rajah Caruth’s victory in the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway marked a significant day for Spire Motorsports. Starting from the pole position, Caruth dashed to the P1 spot after leading in a total of 38 laps. Recently, he joined an episode of ‘Door Bumper Clear’ and talked about his racing journey. From racing alongside Cup Series drivers, Caruth also spoke about the heartwarming messages he received after his historic win at Las Vegas.

Apart from that, he opened up on how Spire Motorsports has the capability to become as successful as Hendrick Motorsport or Joe Gibbs Racing. He highlights how the team leadership prioritizes maintaining a positive culture across all levels. “But one thing that’s been really good is that everybody is pulling in the same direction. And our leadership is really good about making sure we’re all teammates, it doesn’t matter if we’re Truck or Cup. Like obviously we’re not Hendrick, we’re not Gibbs, but I think we can be that one day. Because everybody is pulling in the right direction,” said Caruth.

Caruth further explains how everyone in Spire is hard working and that applies to every possible field. During his initial visit to the team, he was taken aback by the sheer number of responsibilities. It wasn’t just the drivers delivering top performances on the track. The behind-the-scenes team members play a crucial role too for a team to be successful.

He added, “Going there you know, showing up every day its been crazy because they have to do so much. Like the decal guys and girls, the PR department, marketing department, legal department. Like they’ve been working so hard not to mention the guys in the shop, and like they’ve had so much to do.”
