The NASCAR Cup Series paddock will stop at the next destination in the 2021 season this weekend – the Kansas Speedway. Brad Keselowski heads into this race on a high, after taking his first win of the season. Once again, there are wary eyes looking at the heavens as there are concerns about rain.
The bad news is that the weather forecast suggests that NASCAR can expect scattered thunderstorms on Sunday. Temperature-wise, the track will witness a max temperature of 81°F and a minimum of 62°F throughout a clear Saturday. Meanwhile, Sunday sees thunderstorms with temperatures ranging between 76°F and 61°F.
Right now, things are getting desperate for poor old Denny Hamlin. 10 races are done and dusted, and yet he cannot call himself a Cup Series winner in 2021. Last weekend, at the Talladega Superspeedway, his consistent top five run got snapped. Truthfully speaking, it was through no fault of his own, but what’s done is done. The best he can do is move on and try again at Kansas.
