Denny Hamlin, a competitor of Kyle Larson, recently shed light on Larson’s underrated talent on his podcast ‘Actions Detrimental’.
Hamlin expressed, “I think that Kyle is a very underrated talent on worn-out race-tracks. I think for a while there he was definitely one of those guys that would wear his stuff out quick and then would drop an anchor when it comes to long runs.”
Even though Denny Hamlin was one of the drivers who was beaten by Larson during the race, he still acknowledged Larson’s remarkable talent on the field. Reflecting on his performance, Hamlin humbly admitted, “We had a blowout this week, so we just gotta suck it up.”

During All-Star Race, Larson encountered a setback with a pit road speeding penalty, which sent him to the back of the field. However, this setback did not deter him in the least. With his exceptional speed and precision, he swiftly made his way back to the front. Larson possessed an unmatched level of speed and control, that helped him ultimately get the $1 million prize at the North Wilkesboro Speedway (NWS).
