Quite recently, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway witnessed some unusual scenes ahead of the NASCAR race in October. As it turns out, the Las Vegas area was witnessing heavy rainfall. The rain was so heavy that there was a fair bit of flooding and some of it affected the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

It was practically a river, and the speedway’s social media account cheekily asked F1 tire supplier Pirelli for rain tires.

There were responses like, “Naw, get us some beer & Tubes and we got us a lazy river”, “Boat racing?” and “Nah you won’t need any tires for that, you need a boat”.

Others said, “This actually makes me so happy! We are so desperate for rain!!” and “Wow! Could you send that to California please.”
