At the Bristol Motor Speedway, Bubba Wallace had a weekend to forget. When the race concluded, he could only muster a paltry 28th place. This was largely because he faced a number of issues with an overheating car. Later on, some unaired onboard footage from his 23XI Racing shed some light on what really happened.

After the race, Wallace and his crew sat down to discuss what went wrong for them. The cameras caught snippets of the conversation, revealing that a crew member forgot to engage the water for the cooling system. As a result, poor Wallace was stuck battling soaring temperatures. In all honesty, it was a rookie error and it probably exposed how inexperienced the 23XI Racing pit crew was.

It was absolutely gutting for the driver because he clearly struggled on the track. The overheating car did not make things any better, and he was finally put out of his misery. Meanwhile, teammate Kurt Busch also had a torrid day in the office as he also retired from the race.
