Kyle Busch may be competing in the NASCAR Cup Series, but he still finds time to watch his son race. The #18 Joe Gibbs Racing driver currently sits ninth in the championship standings. This means that he is well out of the running for the championship. In other words, he can relax and enjoy this final race before the new season.
One of the ways to do so is watching Brexton Busch have a run in a go kart. The Busch family had paid a visit to the K1 Speed karting track for the young boy to get some laps in. Unfortunately, Busch was not particularly happy with the track. He tweeted, “Hey K1 speed Phoenix, I’d like to request ½ my money back since u only gave Brexton Busch ½ speed. We’ll skip coming back”

Of course, the #18 driver will be eager to close out the 2021 season. Now that he is under no pressure, Busch can simply treat this race as a Sunday afternoon drive. On the other end of the scale, he and Christopher Bell could try and play the team game and help Martin Truex Jr and Denny Hamlin.
One thing is for sure, Kyle Busch will try and stay out of the way of the championship contenders. This comes on the back of several complaints from Busch himself regarding non-championship drivers interfering. If he does make a nuisance of himself, the 2015 and 2019 champion will come off as a massive hypocrite.

Meanwhile, Truex Jr and Hamlin will have to bring their A-game to the Phoenix Raceway. This is because the Hendrick Motorsports duo of Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson are quite formidable. Larson in particular, will be a huge threat, as he has been in excellent all year. However, Elliott is not to be underestimated either.
