For the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, the drivers are set to tackle dirt tracks for the first time. This is pretty much new territory for a vast majority of them, so they must get some practice in. Among them is Team Penske driver Joey Logano, though it seems that his son Hudson Logano got a head-start.
Hudson is one of the many ‘NASCAR kids’ who are following in their fathers’ footsteps. This includes Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, and Clint Bowyer, and their wards.
Logano shared a video of his Hudson, who is yet to turn three years old, driving a vehicle on the testing grounds at Bristol Motor Speedway. “Not bad for a boy who turns 3 next month!” Logano said on the same.

Admittedly, Logano had earlier confessed that his son may want to pursue bike racing in the future. The other children have already raced in some form of four wheels.
Coming back to Joey Logano himself, the Penske driver was slightly disappointed to miss out on the 2020 title. However, he will be keen to correct that slight when the 2021 season rolls in.
What lies ahead for Joey Logano in 2021?
The 2018 Cup Series champion finished third in 2020 behind reigning champion Chase Elliott, and teammate Brad Keselowski. The 2020 ‘Championship 4’ round was his fourth appearance in the top-4, including his championship triumph.
He ended the year with three wins to his credit, at Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Kansas.
The Kansas win was a crucial one as it ensured his berth in the Championship 4. It is also worth mentioning that the Penske driver was the first driver in the final playoff eliminator to book his seat.

From there, he could sit pretty and watch the other seven contenders scramble for the remaining three slots.
However, when it came down to it at the season finale in Phoenix, he could not stop Chase Elliott. Now, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski will lead the charge for Team Penske in 2021.

Obviously, Elliott is not going to hand it over to one of them or anyone else easily, and they must fight for it.
