The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season is just on the horizon and the hype is building. According to the promotional commercials, the new season promises to be incredibly exciting. There are so many contenders for the 2021 crown, like Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, and many more.

First and foremost, there is Denny Hamlin, the defending Daytona 500 winner. In all his years in the sport, Hamlin has never won a Cup Series title, though he has come close on several occasions. All in all, after enjoying one of his best seasons.

There is also the likes of former champions, Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, who are eager to add another title. Also thrown into the mix is Chase Elliott, the ‘people’s champion’. Additionally, there are fan favorites like Kyle Busch and many more.

What else to expect from the 2021 NASCAR Cup Season?

This year, the NASCAR community is visiting a few new venues and also returning to familiar stomping grounds. Chief among them is the debut of the Circuit of the Americas. Additionally, the NASCAR Throwback race at Darlington will kick off on Mother’s Day.

Fans can also look forward to the debut of Clint Bowyer in the commentary booth. In addition to that, he will partner with former NASCAR champion, Jeff Gordon. The next item of business to look forward to is the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt race.

Another thing to look forward to is the arrival of a brand new Cup team, 23XI Racing. The outfit is the brainchild of Denny Hamlin and NBA legend, Michael Jordan. Additionally, the team roped in African-American driver, Bubba Wallace as their official driver.

Aside from all this, there are many other strong contenders for wins and the like. All in all, this is why many are hugely excited for the new season, especially since the field is now a lot closer.
