Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity playoff race was dominated by Josh Berry. Registering a win at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Berry is all set to drive at next month’s Phoenix Raceway championship race. But apart from him, JR Motorsports Noah Gragson also had a pretty good run at Las Vegas. However, it was something else about Gragson that caught the attention of NASCAR fans.

Noah Gragson led the race for 87 laps, however, in a sad turn of events, he ran into a wall during the third stage of the race. Upset about the events that transpired on the track, Gragson explained what happened during the race in a post-race interview.
But instead of putting forth a boring explanation, it seems that the Xfinity Series driver provided fans with the ‘quote of the season.’ After the race, an NBC interviewer asked Noah if he thinks that he should have won the Vegas race. And as a response, Gragson stated that all of it was frustrating.
He told the interviewer that there was some lapse in execution from his end. Moreover, he shared that the pit crew and the team did a great job at the race. However, what he said after this was revered as the ‘quote of the year’ by NASCAR fans.
“Just got caught there. So, definitely unfortunate. I’d throw my nuts off trying to get back up to the front and I just ran out of time there. But God I was hanging them out, threw them on the dash, and was giving everything I had. Just not enough time there.”
Going crazy over Gragson’s words, NASCAR fans took to Twitter to discuss his interview. Not able to believe that Gragson actually said that, fans left some funnily weird comments.

@NoahGragson what you see is what you get. Authentic to the core. snorted my drink and then coughed/laughed my ass off. Then he repeated it a different way on Dialed In with Clare B Lang. Grest idea for a t-shirt!
