The Busch Light Clash earlier this week was a chaotic one. With 16 caution flags, the race was disrupted time and again. Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch ended up frustrated despite finishing third. The reason behind that was 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Joey Logano. Their rivalry doesn’t seem to come to an end any soon.

In the 86 lap of the Los Angeles Coliseum, Logano was guilty of ramming into Busch, sending the latter for a spin. While it didn’t stop Busch from a podium finish, the 37-year-old wasn’t happy with the Team Penske driver’s approach. He had some strong words to say after the race to express his frustration.
Kyle Busch is keen on paying back Joey Logano
Joey Logano ended up 16 in the preseason clash, but that didn’t help make Kyle Busch feel any better. Even Richard Childress Racing crew chief Randall Burnett looked frustrated with the incident. Speaking on the radio chatter during the race, he was found saying, “Welp. He’s doing stupid sh** like he normally does. Shocker.”

While speaking to the media after the race, Busch expressed his unhappiness. He said,” Logano didn’t get hit by nobody. He just flat-out drove through me so he’s got another one coming. I owe him a few.”
In an interview with SiriusXM Nascar Radio, the two-time Champion continued his ranting. He said, “It’s really unfortunate to be raced by guys that are two-faced. We were in the TV booth earlier in the night together, and when were all done with that he was like ‘Hey man, good luck tonight.’
And I’m like, ‘Okay, great, thanks, yeah, whatever,’ and then lo and behold, there you go, he wrecks me. It’s just, don’t even talk to me if you’re gonna be that kind of a**hole on the racetrack.”

While both Kyle Busch and Joey Logano have enjoyed a good time on the tracks individually, they have struggled to get along. During the Las Vegas race in 2017, Logano was responsible for spinning Busch’s car off the track. This is where their relationship turned sour, resulting in the latter taking a swing at Logano.

Ever since then, the duo has been fiercely competitive on the tracks. There is no doubt about the capabilities of either of them, but they have come too far to resolve it. Busch has found Logano’s approach on and off the tracks as contradictory. He was found complaining about it even last year.
