With the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season rapidly approaching, drivers are busy getting ready for it. Recently, Hendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman unveiled a brand new helmet for the coming season. The new lid largely resembles his #48 car’s livery.

The new helmet is deep purple in color, with light blue and pink decals on it. In addition to that, it also sports the Ally logo on the side. This will hopefully herald a new dawn for Bowman as he enters his second season in the #48 car. Last year, he put in a relatively decent performance, but he wasn’t as close in the championship fight as he would like to be.

After his fairly average 2021 season, the driver is seeking redemption. In terms of the championship battle, he knows that Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott cannot shoulder all the burden. So, he and William Byron have to really step up to the plate. Recently, he was at the Chili Bowl Nationals, like his teammates Larson and Elliott.

Unfortunately, he did not win, but he did gain some valuable experience from the event. Without a doubt, all of these additional events will be working wonders to hone the skills of the NASCAR stars. If they sit idle, they could potentially be at a disadvantage in comparison with their rivals.
