The most memorable part of the 2015 Daytona 500 was that one pit road argument between Danica Patrick and Denny Hamlin. Danica had been in a massive five-car pile-up and when she finally found Denny Hamlin she walked up to him and held his race suit and confronted him. In the calmest argument ever Denny tried to pacify her while Danica kept asking what he was doing.

Fans hilariously reacted to the video showcasing the argument; one fan, in particular, stated that “They fight like a married couple.” While another said, “Denny “It’s Not my problem your loose Danica” Hamlin.” Another individual quoted what Denny said, “I can’t give you an extra two feet because it’s you!”

During the post-race media event, Danica was heard saying, “I’m pretty sure we were laughing that night afterward. Our buses are parked next to each other. Maybe it was even the next day.”

Later on even Denny Hamlin stated, “Looking back on it was funny how it all worked out. I think that’s where her frustration came from the most. Her buddy on and off the track wrecked her a couple of times. Anytime you are superspeedway racing, we’re messing around with inches here and when you feel like it’s your friend that wrecked you, you get a little bit more upset.”
