The “Being Chastained” or “Hail Melon” move, affectionately named after a racing trick Ross Chastain pulled off last year to rush into the Championship 4, involved an eye-watering smash into the outside wall. As the audience held their breath, Chastain let go of the steering wheel and floored the gas pedal. The result was akin to hyper-speed, allowing him to blaze past five cars in seconds and snatch the final spot in the title race. Motorsport enthusiasts worldwide lauded the audacity and creativity displayed by Chastain on that unforgettable day.
