Non Fungible Tokens or NFTs have been all the rage for the past few years. Now it seems like the people at NASCAR have finally woken up and started exploring this new technology. Recently, NASCAR announced that they would be releasing officially licensed collectibles soon.

The NASCAR NFT will be featuring 31 drivers and their stats with three rarities for each driver. The drop will arrive on the Candy marketplace starting December 13th. All the collectibles will be available in a blind format. Where one would not know what they are getting till they have possession of it. While most of the cars will have three rarities for each icon, a few of them will be featuring ultra-rare cards. The ultra-rare cards would have an insert on them stating “Historic ICON.”
Legendary drivers of the sport such as Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough, Fireball Roberts, or Richard Petty would be the four selected ultra-rare collectibles available for sale. All in all, a total of only 40 cards would be dropped for the fans to get their hands on.

How much will these NASCAR NFTs cost?
The NFT Collectibles would be sold in three separate packs. The packs have been designated as Start your Engines, Pole Position, and Winner Circle.

The first one would fetch $25 and would come with 3 trading cards. The total inventory for this pack would be around 1,843 units. Then the second one, called Pole Position, will cost $50 and would have 7 cards. This one will have a far lesser inventory at around 942 units. Finally, the last one called Winner Circle will retail for $500. Being the most coveted out of the three packs, this one will feature one Historical card, 7 epic, and 11 rare collectibles. However, there will only be 20 of these packs available for sale.

The official sale will begin at 1 PM ET on December 13th. However, people who already hold the “All Rare Kyle Larson” or the “Richard Petty Asphalt Bust” from the Candy store would be given early access at 12pm to the collection.
