Bubba Wallace is known for his social media presence. He has over 400,000 followers on Instagram and regularly engages with his fans through posts, stories, and live videos. His latest post featuring his 23XI Racing teammate Tyler Reddick, however, took things to a whole new level causing the fans to go crazy in the comments section.

Bubba Wallace promotes his sponsor, causing social media mayhem

On April 29th, Wallace took social media by storm with an epic sponsorship heist. In a post on his Instagram account, he shared a photo of himself and this season’s COTA winner, Tyler Reddick, in the popular Spiderman meme format. The post, captioned, “Best caption wins @23xiracing | @mcdonalds | #teamtoyota,” called for fans to share their inputs with a special surprise for the winner.

The post, which has since then over 8000 likes and 200 comments, shows Wallace and Reddick pointing at each other while wearing their racing suits. Bubba Wallace’s clever meme is a play on the Spiderman meme, where two characters point at each other, each claiming to be the other’s doppelganger.

Fans respond to Bubba Wallace’s clever meme play

The post was a clever way for Wallace to showcase his team’s sponsor, McDonald’s, while also poking fun at his teammate. Fans were quick to notice the post and began commenting on it, with many expressing their amusement and admiration for Wallace’s wit.

The comments on Wallace’s post were a mix of praise and humor. One fan commented, “Seeing McDouble,” referencing the popular McDonald’s menu item, while another fan joked, “Teach me how to go that fast,” a nod to Tyler’s racing skills.

Another fan commented, “Tyler wtf!!! McDonald’s is my sponsor!” 

Some fans also took the opportunity to poke fun at Bubba, with one fan commenting, “Tyler, why are you always so much faster than me,” and another fan saying, “Bet they will say ‘our ice cream machines are broken,” referencing the frequent complaints about McDonald’s ice cream machines being out of service.

However, most fans were supportive of Wallace’s post, with many expressing their love for the driver and his team. One fan commented, “Bub & Ty  I’m lovin’ it,” referencing McDonald’s iconic slogan “I’m Lovin’ It,” while another fan quoted the late actor Paul Walker’s character from The Fast and the Furious franchise, saying, “In the Brian O’Conner voice ‘I almost had you.’”

Wallace’s post also met with some playful criticism, with one fan jokingly addressing Reddick, “Look kid welcome to the team but you can’t come in and steal my style, now change.” Nonetheless, the overwhelming response to the post was positive, with fans expressing their excitement for Wallace’s sponsor and their admiration for his clever social media skills.
