With the NASCAR Cup Series season on the horizon, the racer is gearing up for an exciting year ahead. However, going by his latest post on social media, it seems like he is taking a leaf out of his boss, Denny Hamlin’s book after sharing a thrilling announcement.

Amidst the outside noise because of the ongoing lawsuit, what could be the announcement that Tyler Reddick has been eager to share at the start of the new year? Could the personal milestone give the California native something more to fight for in the 2025 season? Time will tell.

23XI Racing’s family continues to grow

It seems baby Beau is all set to become an older brother! Tyler Reddick and his wife Alexa announced on the first day of the new year that they were expecting a second child, with Reddick 2.0 arriving in June. After dating for several years, the couple officially tied the knot on July 25th, 2024, and have a four-year-old son, named by the racing driver following his 2019 Xfinity Series championship. Will the 28-year-old get to name his second child as well, perhaps after achieving another professional milestone in 2025?

The family had a small photoshoot at home, with Beau appearing to be reading a book called, ‘Big Brothers are the BEST’. Tyler Reddick wrote the caption, “A new year and a new family member is coming to the Reddick household! Baby #2 arriving in June!” The driver seems to be doing well, both in his personal and professional life, after winning the regular season and reaching Championship 4 for the first time in his career in 2024. Even though he finished fourth in the standing, the racer has plenty to build on ahead of the new season.

As for new people entering Tyler Rddick’s life, the driver is all set to have a new teammate in 2025, with Riley Herbst joining 23XI Racing from Stewart-Haas’ Xfinity Series team. Co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, 23XI is currently in the middle of an anti-trust lawsuit filed against NASCAR for monopolistic practices. As things stand, the team has had their revised preliminary injunction approved, which means they will retain at least two charters for the upcoming Cup Series campaign. However, NASCAR has partially appealed the verdict to stop the sale of the third charter, and it remains to be seen if Herbst will compete in the ‘open’ category or not.

As for Tyler Reddick, the No. 45 Toyota driver seems to be taking a well-earned rest during the off-season. Sharing his plans, the racer said, “Working on other things outside of racing, catching up on life, honey-dos, whatever you want to call them. So yeah, once I get all that stuff in a good place, I feel like I’ll be decompressed and ready to get back just focused on racing.” He will be making his first appearance at the historic Bowman-Gray Stadium for the NASCAR clash, followed by the season-opening race, the Daytona 500, where Reddick will hope to hit the ground running.

Denny Hamlin is all set to welcome a new member to his family! The 23XI Racing co-owner and his fiancé Jordan Fish are expecting their third child together, and the couple announced the happy news on Instagram. They already share their home with two daughters, Taylor who is 11 years old, and Molly, aged 7, and will be expecting their third child in June, the same as Tyler Reddick. It seems like both the drivers have plenty to look forward to going into 2025 as per their latest announcements on social media.

The post, made by joint accounts of Denny Hamlin and Jordan Fish showcased images that were designed to look like a Christmas card. Featuring the family of four, the caption read, “The more, the Merrier. Merry Christmas.” The second image featured the family holding a set of sonogram photos, with the words, “Arriving in June 2025” written underneath. Could Joe Gibbs Racing’s veteran driver mark 2025 as the year he finally gets his hands on the elusive Cup Series title as well?

Denny Hamlin will have high expectations going into 2025. With Tyler Reddick making it to Championship 4, the expectation will be for 23XI to compete for the Bill France Cup yet again. Moreover, the Joe Gibbs Racing veteran will hope to improve his performance, particularly in the second half of the 2025 campaign as well.
