Beau continues motivating Reddick through all his ups and downs. Now, Tyler Reddick can make Beau super proud. Battling at Phoenix, Reddick can take the Championship home and carve a history worth remembering. The next race will see him battling at Martinsville, although currently, he sits at a sweet spot. Driving well will add to his point buckets and ensure that he has that upper hand driving through Phoenix.
Recollecting his early drives in Martinsville, Reddick said, “Martinsville last year was so incredibly stressful. I think, even back to my Xfinity days, when you go into Phoenix when it was the cut-off for the Round of 8, that is just a very, very stressful race. I mean it feels like you lose years of your life thinking about points, trying to step ahead of one or two cars, and so not to have to worry about that at all and just solely focus on Phoenix, it’s going to be a huge advantage”. Not only Reddick, but even Michael Jordan, the co-owner of Team 23XI has been ecstatic about this victory.

However, Denny Hamlin seemed to be quite bummed after he could not secure the lead, even after battling hard. It has been a tough time balancing between ownership and player mentality. However, Hamlin did acknowledge the great effort put up by Reddick.
He said, “You know it’s certainly big. He comes to a lot of these playoff races, this is in his backyard he probably drove there from where he lives. It’s a big moment for our team and Tyler and everything. You know it’s certainly very gratifying for me to be able to help deliver that for Michael”. At Martinsville, Hamlin will also be battling for a position so that he can make it to the Top 4. Do you think he will succeed going into the championship as both a driver and an owner?
