The peak of NASCAR’s popularity was perhaps back in the late 1990s and 2000s when the stalwarts like the Earnhardts, the Gordons, and the Stewart’s were active in the grid. This led to an increase in the sport’s immense popularity and attracted devoted followers to the stands of the race tracks. In the process, the organizing committees earned a lump sum amount of revenue.
However, in recent times, its popularity has shrunken due to its no-appeal infrastructure to attract young faces with prodigious talents on the tracks. As a result, the young audience turning out on either the stands or the screens during race weekends continues to be poor. However, this doesn’t discount the fact that there still lies a comparatively large loyal fanbase, approximately three million followers.
Motorsports in any format is physically grueling in nature and requires years of practice and dedication to shine in this field. In addition to it, drivers have chosen this as their profession, knowing the risks it entails while driving at unbelievable speeds. Naturally, NASCAR drivers are remunerated handsomely for their profession. Kyle Busch seemed to have find the balance.

These remunerations are surely generous in nature and have helped the drivers on building multi-million empires. And Kyle Busch’s properties are a testament to that fact. Moreover, he is just steps away from generating a huge revenue as Ty Gibbs’ mother revealed.
Due to its limited popularity as compared to other major sports events, NASCAR drivers don’t earn as handsomely as players of other sports. While this might be true for majority of drivers, one NASCAR driver who don’t run far behind in the list is Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch.
The two-time Cup Series champion was the highest-paid driver in the year 2020, as revealed by Forbes. His current net worth stands at a whopping $80 million. With such a net worth, the spendings made by the driver are quite luxurious and his mansion at Lake Norman is a testimony to that.
The 15,000 sq ft mansion is nothing less than an architectural marvel, as it boasts an expansive outdoor along with seven rooms that overlook the mesmerizing Lake Norman. Kyle Busch had purchased this property back in 2012, for $7.5 million.
After living there for over a decade, the Busch family is ready to sell this property which has been listed at $13 million dollar, a little less than double the original price of the property which Kyle Busch had purchased.
Aiding the family to sell the property, is Ty Gibbs’ mother, Heather Gibbs, a representative of Corcoran HM Properties. Revealing the reason behind the selling of the property, she said, “There’s no real personal reason. They have just taken care of it to the highest level,” she added.

Apart from this, he also earns from various endorsements.
