With yet another race weekend right around the corner, NASCAR fans are on the edge of their seats as NASCAR’s proud sponsor teased fans ahead of the much-anticipated speedway race at Charlotte. While the returning North Wilkesboro track saw a mixed response from fans as many came out publically about the lackluster race, with that being said, the sport’s arguable giant sponsor has riled up eager fans simply with a social media post.

After a rather bleak and dull short track racing at the coveted All-Star Race that had the iconic NWB track comeback to the Cup Series schedule after 27 years, the community has been savoring the race for quite some time now.

And with the Coca-Cola 600 finally making its way to the racing city of Charlotte in North Carolina, a $265 Billion-dollar NASCAR sponsor has pitched the people’s champion, Denny Hamlin against the 2017 Coca-Cola 600 champ.

NASCAR sponsor has fans head over heels ahead of the highly expected race at Charlotte

While the last NASCAR Cup Series was a short race on a short track, that is about to go for a toss as the upcoming event is the longest race of the series that too at an iconic city with loads of racing heritage to its roots. And adding to the hype for the race is NASCAR’s proud sponsor Coca-Cola.

The iconic brand has been associated with racing at the Southern track for a long and brief period of time. Since 1985, Coca-Cola has had an extensive association with racing as it sponsored the longest race in the series. And with the community eagerly waiting for the 600-mile race, Coca-Cola has hyped up the event as it posted on Instagram.

The seemingly unsuspecting post had the veteran JGR driver Denny Hamlin who is also the 2022 Coca-Cola 600 champ against the 2017 champ and Richard Childress Racing driver, Austin Dillon. Dillon who is also the grandson of Richard Childress is praised for his stellar 2017 Charlotte run notably in the iconic #3 car as he racked up his first career win at the grandest of stages.

While Ty Dillion’s older brother is yet to make his mark on the 2023 season with zero wins to date, last year’s reigning champ of the 600-mile track, Hamlin is looking to cash in his winning momentum at the track as he looks to redeem himself despite being the best driver in the roster to never win the Cup.

With all these minute storylines in the background, Hamlin is eyeing another speedway run just like his last-minute rally at Kansas Speedway when he edged out the Hendrick Motorsports ace and his close friend, Kyle Larson at the last minute. While Dillon is hoping to return to his winning ways.

While the last week’s race at NWB was much of an exhibition for the fans with the iconic track making its return, the race only had a cash prize for grabs as it did not have the conventional point systems in play. This though, the All-Star action is absent, and now with the invaluable points back, all of the roster is closely on the lookout.

Also, this time around, the competition is top-notch. As always the Hendrick squad is solid while they miss out on their ace, Alex Bowman. The wow factor doesn’t stop there as the community is yearning to see the polarising Trackhouse Racing star, Ross Chastain back in action after his recent debacles.

Fans literally have so much on their minds, a fan even mentioned Stewart-Haas Racing veteran Kevin Harvick picking up the win given this is his last season.

Harvick needs to win this tbf”

While loyal JGR and Hamlin fans wrote,

Dh back 2 back. And to see it in person would be awesome! Can’t wait to be there Sunday”

“DH for another”

Whereas Austin Dillon fans cheered for their driver while mentioning his previous run.

If Austin didn’t get spooked A-Fixed style bc his run was enormous and clear himself off Larson, he woulda won. That was a badass move”
