An inspiration to step into the realm of the Tony Stewart-owned SRX Series

SRX racing is specifically tailored for former NASCAR, INDYCAR, and Formula One drivers, with the primary aim of captivating fans. The selection process for the SRX involves a strategic approach where drivers’ popularity among fans plays a crucial role.

Recently, Carson Hocevar displayed interest in SRX’s Twitter post. SRX officials asked fans for input on the upcoming 2024 season, and the talented truck driver, Carson Hocevar, shared a humorous anecdote related to the popular actor Jim Carrey.

It’s worth noting that the professional dirt track and stock car racing driver has consistently proven his capabilities whenever he’s had the opportunity to race. With three wins and 29 top 10 finishes in the Craftsman Truck series. Notably, his recent victory in Richmond earned him significant attention, marking his third win of the season.

Interestingly, when Chase Elliott was suspended for the World Wide Technology Raceway following a collision with Denny Hamlin, Corey LaJoie was called in by HMS to drive the #9 car. Subsequently, Spire Motorsports enlisted Carson Hocevar to replace LaJoie. That is how Hocevar made his Cup debut due to a series of events.

Impressively, the No. 42 Chevy finished P16, surpassing LaJoie’s performance. This unexpected early Cup debut proved a great success for the full-time Craftsman Truck Series driver. The question now remains whether he can transition into a devout SRX driver in such a short span of time or not.

Fans, however, seem to be convinced by his potential.
