The actor turned ARCA Menards driver, Frankie Muniz, indeed had a profound love for motorsport racing. The driver, although in his rookie year of the series, has evidently proven his caliber as a racer through his performance on the track. Muniz has delivered seven top-10 finishes in just nine starts.

It was just a few days ago that the actor found himself entangled in a murky love triangle scandal between Jonah Hill and Sarah Brady. The actor-turned-driver was allegedly accused by Hill of having a close relationship with Sarah Brady. In an Instagram post, Hill bashed Brady for constantly texting Frankie Muniz and for both of them meeting at the beach at night. While no comments were made by Muniz, the driver found himself mired in another triangle. This time, it was related to his career in NASCAR.

The driver stumbled on the tracks of the Pocono, also called the ‘tricky triangle’ owing to its unique track configuration. Nevertheless, the driver had qualified 10th for the race in order to maintain his lead in the points standings, but everything went awry due to electrical issues, and the car lost power. Although the driver tried to rebound, it was too late, and he finished 21st in the race and fell down a position in the race.

Talking to Fronstretch, Muniz expressed his disappointment after the race. He exclaimed, “I hit really hard on the first start from behind, everyone checked up pretty bad and we think that made the battery connection got loose. I am tired it ended up frying the batteries, so when the first caution came I just lost power completely.”

“Everything was dead, we came in and took a while to get the batteries changed and we went down to I think 13 laps or so. It’s a shame when I think we easily would have been in the top 5 today […] Obviously bummed, I think we lost second in the points which hurts even more because it wasn’t on merit it was on something kind of out of our control,” Muniz asserted.

With a position lost in the points table, the driver is still keeping the fire of the championship alive in him. Although he believes that he still has a long way to go, he is positive that he can turn around the tide.

Continuing the same lines, Muniz expressed, “We are pretty far away from Jesse. We are only halfway through the season, you don’t know what’s gonna happen as far as luck, mechanical stuff, or crashes like there are so many factors, and maybe I’m gonna start winning, maybe all of a sudden next week I’m gonna win the last 10 […]”

“I have been there the whole season and I think we lost it to Andres today because he had a good run and we couldn’t do anything. Nobody fell out either, this is the race that everyone stayed in the race. When you have bad luck, you hope that maybe some of the Park guys actually start parking, but they didn’t,” Muniz concluded.
