Ross Chastain had a great season in 2022, winning two races and making headlines with Trackhouse. A fairly new team made it to the final 4! He continued his success in 2023, winning two more races and qualifying for the playoffs. However, this year something’s been off with the #1 team and Trackhouse. They have struggled. NASCAR is going into their final race of the regular season and Chastain is winless so far and far away from making it to the playoffs.
Chastain enters the regular-season finale at Darlington at 27 points behind the playoff cutoff and it’s pretty much a do-or-die situation for them. However, one area where they have really excelled this year is the paint schemes! They have had some of the best-looking cars of the season. Don’t believe us? Take a look at Chastain’s latest Darlington ride. Fans are going crazy over it!

Earlier this year, Ross Chastain’s No. 1 Trackhouse Racing car got sponsorship from Busch Light, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership. The team before the season started unveiled one of their paint scheme for the #1 car, featuring blue and white mountains and chrome numbers. This was the beginning of some of the finest paint schemes of this season. This was the same car that Chastain ran in the Goodyear 400 race. Previously, Chastain had expressed his excitement about representing the amazing paint schemes and Busch light. He had said, “I can’t wait to represent the Busch Light brand on the track in 2024 and race for the mountains with the fresh, exhilarating look of the ‘Iconic’ paint scheme.”

Trackhouse nailed it when it comes to paint schemes, as they often find their designs being talked about amongst fans. They have not just been aesthetically pleasing, but also clever, like the Chastain Richmond ride with Jockey. It featured a man in his underwear driving the car. It was funny looking, but fans loved it because of its uniqueness. Had there been points for the best paint schemes, Chastain would probably have been above the cutoff line. Going into Darlington, the #1 team is coming with the best weapon in its arsenal. Hopefully, it drives well too!
Now the season is heading to the final race of the NASCAR Cup Series regular season. To that end, the Trackhouse team has unveiled a special paint scheme for the Cook Out Southern 500. The No. 1 Chevrolet will feature a vintage Busch Beer scheme. It is blue with distressed wood accents, paying homage to the brand’s long-standing commitment to NASCAR and its fans since 1979. It also features Retro Busch Beer and Anheuser-Busch logos along with the brand’s iconic mountain landscape. Trackhouse took it to Instagram to share breathtaking images of the #1 ride. Chastain’s 2024 numbers aren’t as good as his car looks. Even Daniel Suarez has struggled this season. Yes, he has a win in Atlanta and had a playoff berth. But the rest of the season has been pretty average. He only has two top 5s so far. Although Trackhouse has been slammed for its lack of pace, they have been appreciated for their beautiful designs. On this note, one fan wrote, “Whoever is in charge of the paint schemes needs a raise, they make nonstop classics.” Echoing the same emotion, some fans have declared this the best one so far in the season. The fan wrote, “Best paint scheme of the season.”
